This is Venkadesh Narayanan, Supply Chain Consultant and SCM Trainer at Fhyzics. I am here to help you decode CSCP in 12 steps to make a successful career in supply chain management.

CSCP stands for Certified Supply Chain Professional. CSCP is from Association for Supply Chain Management, formerly APICS, USA. The Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) is the global leader in supply chain organisational transformation, innovation and leadership.

First, ensure that you are eligible to appear for this examination. CSCP is not a cakewalk examination or not something one cannot achieve at all. It is a moderately difficult examination. CSCP is considered the world’s number one examination in the supply chain management domain. Those who have attained CSCP never look back in their supply chain career. CSCP has a fantastic body of knowledge which gives you the global best practices in supply chain management and the necessary visibility as a certified supply chain professional.

To appear for CSCP either, you must be a graduate or have at least three years of experience in supply chain management. Please note that I have indicated an OR condition, not an AND condition. That means graduation or experience will make you eligible to appear for this examination. Also, CPIM, CLTD, CPM, CSM, or CPSM will make you eligible for CSCP certification.

You may have questions like how CSCP will be helpful in your career or whether CSCP is the right certification. Please get in touch with our Certifications Manager at +91-900-304-9000 or visit www.Fhyzics.net to schedule a CSCP demo session.
