Position Overview
The Category Analyst will be liable for the collection of data from multiple references to identify possibilities for the products. The main focus of the Category Analyst is to convert data into actionable information to drive policy and volume for the Business.

Academic Qualification 

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering
  • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
  • MBA in product management, category management and new products

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years related work experience required understanding of the consumer goods industry which involves the class of trade, consumer groups, section, competing products, competing strategies and management trends.
  • Product Management/Retail Vendor Management experience

Professional Certification

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Design, create and perform regular segment reports, programs and systems with local associates.
  • Turn the information into actionable insights with products data by performing, reviewing and evaluating category plans.
  • Strategically increase consumer Management business goals that combine with the buyers overall business plans.
  • Build the classification metrics model based on information of the category partners or managers to track and monitor production to the category approach
  • To include actual vs projected savings and advise the team of programs, escalate problems and own business action plans
  • To review increases possibilities and align with the Division Managers on the progress of any restorative action plans

Travel Requirements: This position requires 15% of travel.
