Position Overview
Commodity management is becoming a frequently major role within the supply chain population as more and more businesses attempt to secure their supply pipeline, deliver excellence for money and improve structured relations with key stakeholders. He will be independently working and oversight the control of Commodity market risks.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field
- MBA in business would also be an added advantage
Professional Experience
- 5+ years of proven commodity business administration experience within commodity management capable of demonstrating the project management knowledge is essential. Any commodity control expertise would be valuable, but not essential.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Create, develop, deliver and manage world-class products with partner/supplier strategy within our organization that assures service and value to the business in the long course and identify new vendors in new regions/products/capabilities to ensure our supplier base is current
- Develop and lead a supplier accreditation procedure that ensures secure and steady suppliers that follow our core values
- Lead KEY (Top 25) suppliers at CEO or Board level to ensure that we maintain important and powerful connections across the network
- Operate jointly with Regional Logistics Managers and Regional/Divisional Teams to design, complete and command the supplier production administration that incorporates production quantities, plus supplier solutions and Periodically/Yearly evaluations
- Operate jointly with Business and Constitutional organisations across the enterprise to deliver business and contractual clarifications for Logistics operations within the country
- Find supplier and technological discovery and most beneficial custom to address key Transportation and Infrastructure designs and integrated logistics answers across the business throughout Benchmarking and Constant Enhancement
- Guarantee the financial perspectives and impression of any contract are transparent to all individuals.
Competencies
- Experience to tackle difficult problems and devise relevant clarifications
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge in technical toolsets (e.g., VBA, SQL, MatLab, etc.) preferred
- Attentiveness to specification, scheme management and prioritization jobs will also be key in considering daily deadlines with the appropriate implementation of diplomatic plans.
- Exceptional communication skills for written, graphical and verbal presentation.
