Fleet Manager

Position Overview
This position is accountable for customer and driver satisfaction within the designated location while completing company goals for Safety & Compliance, Client Service, and year-long goals. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for constantly monitoring and improving the Dispatch service concentrating on developing fragments of the Dispatch team and the driver fleet while supervising fleet resources

Academic Qualification 

  • 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree in transportation or fleet management
  • MBA in Business Management would be added advantage 

Professional Experience 

  • 2-5 years of working experience in a similar role in a fleet management organisation
  • 5 years of work-related experience working with a separate fleet, office operations and worldwide operations.

Professional Certification

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Assures safe and dependable vehicles are available to meet operational demands
  • Records and addresses driver DOT/NON-DOT accidents to the appropriate members of administration & regional teams
  • Manages all Fleet Services workers handles the training of the drivers evaluates and disciplines employees. 
  • Adequately managing day to day activities of the fleet Logistics, Operations, program optimization & livelihood
  • Tracks the trucks and ensure timely delivery of the goods
  • To liaison with numerous works and Coverage companies for quick claim settlement and distribution
  • Have to support relations with works and Coverage companies
  • Method performance, handling and adding to regular process revisions to enhance the productivity of the team
  • Executing collection, embarkation, and disembarkation procedures/flights as exhibited in the SOPs and the accountability matrix.

Travel Requirements: This position requires 50% of travel.

Salary ranges liable on the experience and involvement. Typically this position will be paid 6, 00,000 – 8, 00,000 annually based on experience.
