Position Overview
The Director, Procurement leads the procurement function, including development and implementation of strategic and operational sourcing, procurement, contracting and supply management strategies, and operations processes to ensure the organisation attains the value in the goods and services required to achieve the goals.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
- Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
- Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including Oracle, SAP Ariba, and/or Envision.
- In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
- Management and leadership skills.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Professional Experience
- Working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement
- Talent in negotiations and networking
- Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
- Experience in collecting and analysing data
- Strong leadership capabilities
Professional Certifications
- Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
- Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level-4)

- Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
- Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services

Travel Requirements: Agent requires 20% of travel to its contractor locations.

Salary ranges liable on the experience. Typically, Head of Procurement Strategy will be paid ₹3,250,000 – ₹5,650,000 Annually.
