Inbound Material Analyst

Position Overview
The Inbound Material analyst will be reporting to the logistics Manager and also will be responsible for all the inbound activities in the warehouse. He will be mostly involved in the planning, managing and monitoring of the freight to the fulfilment centre. Will independently lead the team in cluster analysis and will also be providing mentorship and guidance to the junior team members.

Academic Qualification 

  • High school diploma or college is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least one-year experience in the supply chain, logistics, or retail.

Professional Experience

  • One to two years of work experience in logistics team.
  • 1 year of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Service Distribution preferred.

Professional Certification

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • You will be assigned in managing Inventory team to ensure proper utilization of supplies.
  • Managing 3PL warehouses and also experience in TMS and ERP platforms will be an added advantage
  • Responsible for regular coordination, appointments of drivers and equipment using dispatch software. 
  • Entry registration, tracks, completes and daily audit of drivers Performs slightly complicated analysis of information, problems, and/or data.
  • Formulates productive internal and/or external work communications which could customers on board easily.
  • Understanding of transportation software from an operational and functional point
  • Support a team with competing preferences & implementing level-headed administration during unexpected events
  • Promote assignments and assist loads to maintain inventory levels at the DC’s and prevent a business from being shorted products

Competencies 

  • Lead initiatives individually or cross-functionally to meet the challenging requirements
  • High knowledge in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, Business Objectives
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills will be an important skill for this job
  • Ability to work on problem-solving skills and will also have to deal with tight timelines, decision making exception-based management capabilities
  • Working on balancing priorities across multiple stakeholders.

Travel Requirements: This position requires 30% of travel.

Seniority Level: Early Professional 

Salary ranges liable on the experience and involvement. Typically this position will be paid 3, 00,000 – 6, 00,000 annually based on experience.
