Position Overview
As an Inventory Specialist, you and your team have the tremendous responsibility of ensuring products take the final steps to reach our customers. You're in charge of the store's entire inventory that includes products, parts, packing and shipping. You have to ensure that team has the aid, information, and supplies required to maintain product availability, complete inventory responsibilities, and keep the stockroom classified as new products come

Academic Qualification

  • High school diploma or graduate engineer
  • Degree from an accredited college/university or hold a inventory professional certification.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in all phases of handling inventory 
  • Must be adaptable and prepared to work the requirements of the department which are subject to overnight shifts, weekends, and holiday
  • Demonstrated problem-solver with strong client/ relationship abilities

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Inventory control specialist requires an extensive perception of inventory control, order tracking and bill of material. Possessing a direct connection with production management, all vendors and the accounting department and all shipping & receiving is required
  • Performing cycle counts on a routine basis for distinct departments.
  • Communicate with staff, store and office manager regarding count accuracy
  • Documenting aged & damaged merchandise
  • Recognize inventory discrepancies, analysis of root causes and engage in efforts to implement demonstrated permanent corrective action plans
  • Knowledge of computer inventory system and automated inventory.

Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite and written & verbal skills
  • Able to work well under stress while handling demands and tight deadlines
  • Work efficiently and productively in independent and team settings
  • Practices the teachings of The Six E’s and sets a big example for others
  • Create maintain inventories, retain records, technical reports and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Understanding of Safety guidelines, RF systems, barcoding and applicable functions
  • Understanding of all paperwork and reporting methods related to tracking inventory.

Travel Requirements: Procurement Partner requires 40% of travel

The Salary depends on the experience. However, typically the average salary of an Executive Buyer is around ₹5 lakhs to 7 lakhs annually.
