Position Overview
Lead Sourcing Consultant demonstrates supervisory and retrieving their company, making recommendations of upper-level staff members. Work in an extensive diversity of businesses and environments. Promoting the brand of sourcing process of an establishment or organisation in more efficient way through structure relationships with suppliers, negotiating cost and evolving agreements that ultimately help a company grow and become more profitable. Sourcing consulting process is used to excellence the best product or facility for a certain category of expenditure, when selecting suppliers through a sourcing process, the buyer works in collaboration with internal customers or budget holders.

Academic Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management
  • Master’s degree (Preferred)

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 5 Years of experience includes at least 2 years of Sourcing experience
  • Excellent Team handling and coaching / tutoring experience
  • Microsoft Office including Project Management software (Mandatory)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design commodity strategies, category plans and commercial solutions aligned with high business drivers.
  • Assist or lead supplier contract negotiations, including creating and writing supplier contract documents and terms and conditions.
  • Assessing market conditions and the risk management plans.
  • Affords effective measurable analysis using sound financial modelling.
  • Cultivate a fact-base to appropriately understand market analytics and category dynamics.
  • Develops and smears a thorough understanding of the business, technical, and financial goals for each line of business to develop balanced and mutually beneficial sourcing business solution.
  • Endorse post-contract sourcing delivery success (savings, compliance, buying channel optimization) related to assigned categories.
  • Review spend visibility reports to assist in determining sourcing opportunities and the most efficient associated buy strategy.
  • Evaluates industry/market trends and business needs for specific categories of spend to meet savings targets.
  • Support sourcing manager in maintaining relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders.

Travel Requirements: Lead Sourcing Consultant requires 30 % of travel

Seniority Level: Associate

This position will be typically reporting to the Lead Sourcing Manager of an organization.

Salary ranges depending on the experience. Typically, Lead Sourcing Consultant will be paid Rs. 4, 00,000 – Rs 6, 50,000 annually.
