Position Overview
We need an innovative Procurement Manager to head our procurement team. You are needed to initiate the purchasing process from choosing suppliers to making sure of stock optimization, as well as provide advice on sourcing and procurement processes.
This employee will be a supply chain and logistics leader who should specialize in implementing purchases of all goods and services, as required by the organisation which should be cost effective. Making sure of quality control and complying to the company’s policies and procedures on supply chain management will be some of your main priorities when carrying out this role. Procurement Manager is considered as a supply chain and logistics professional leader in making sure of cost-effective purchase of all materials and services as given by the procurement plan while making sure of quality control and adherence with the organisation’s procedures and policies.
Academic Qualification
- MA in Business Administration, Logistics, or any other similar relevant fields
Professional Experience
- Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager for 10 years

Roles and Responsibilities
- Create and execute local procurement strategies that are creative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within industry
- Build long-term relationships with vendors in the industry
- Compare proposals for price and specifications
- Negotiate with vendors to reduce costs
- Review contract specifications on behalf of the company
- Contact with vendors to ensure that the product arrives in a timely fashion
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers
- Manage technical systems to track the shipment, inventory and supply of materials
- Head the transformational activities to build procurement organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports
- Ensure compliance to all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations
- Keep abreast of changing industry trends

Salary ranges depending on the experience. Typically, the average salary for an Executive Procurement Manager in India is around Rs.10 lakhs to Rs.15 lakhs annually.
