Materials Manager - Procurement

Position Overview
The purpose of a Materials Manager is to supervise the planning and coordination of a company's account and procuring departments. They are tasked with studying best prices, monitoring register levels, distributing materials, and negotiating agreements. Materials management is also accountable for determining the quantity of material to be organized at each stocking site across the supply chain, beginning material replacement plans, determining inventory levels to hold for each type of record (raw material, WIP, Completed Goods) 

Academic Qualification

  •  Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a comparable role. Proven executive experience is a bonus.
  • Compacted understanding of supply chain and inventory organization systems.

  • Co-operate with other managers to regulate supply needs
  • Purchase provisions and materials rendering to conditions
  • Coordinate and supervise unloading and warehousing events
  • Oversee dispersal of supplies in the group
  • Switch inventory levels and ensure obtainability of material during crises
  • Oversee, evaluate and coach assistants
  • Maintain relations and negotiate with dealers
  • Keep thorough records on attaining activity, materials amount, specifications etc.
  • Assist in predicting to plan future orders

Travel Requirements

If the product is built within the country, then you will have to travel within the nation and if shipped global, then you may have to travel overseas depending on the terms of the business.

Seniority Level: Associate

Salary ranges liable on the experience and involvement. Typically, Materials Manager will be paid Rs. 3,0,000 – Rs. 6,50,000 Annually based on experience.
