Position Overview
The Packaging Manager is accountable for maximising business interests with packaging technology and spreading across the supply chain. Oversee day-to-day services and associated workers within the office. Their principal objective is to secure the effective finishing of products, to the quality and quantity needed by our customers. The Manager will drive business performance through performing and improving production control method KPI’s, and efficiently leading a team consisting of Product Controllers, Method Operators and Workers.
Academic Qualification
- Any H&S Qualification would be advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering field from an accredited institution.
Professional Experience
- Previous experience within the Processing and/or Packaging industry
- Technical packaging including project leadership experience with a track record of achieving results is necessary
Professional Certification
- Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
- Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level-5)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Extensive technical knowledge in all packaging stuff (glass, plastic, paper and metal)
- Deep knowledge of the involvement of the supply chain, outcome, method, packaging tools and packaging supplies
- Manage and assist packaging discovery and study, to create an aggressive edge over our competitors
- Recognize and deliver packaging ideas.
- Implement packaging expertise and maintenance for other teams in the business
- Develop packaging information internally and keep up-to-date with the current market trends and technology trends and advancements.
- Ensure packaging material requirements are meeting the needs of the market and produce for our consumers

Travel Requirements: This position requires 20% of travel.

Salary ranges liable on the experience and involvement. Typically this position will be paid 4, 00,000 – 7, 00,000 annually based on experience.
