Position Overview
The Procurement Advisor delivers technical procurement expertise on policies, procedures, systems and standards to assist undertaking stakeholders on the procurement planning, expansion, sourcing and management to make strategic decisions and effectively meet organisational and business objectives. Functioning collectively with crucial internal and external patrons to ensure that procurement processes, workflow and delivery are delivered to meet targets and quality standards and those occasions for enlightening performance are identified and delivered to warrant incessant expansion. 

Academic Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance,
  • Master’s degree (Preferred)
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (Added Advantage)

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 10 Years of procurement experience
  • Good exposure to Contract Management
  • Microsoft Office including Project Management software (Mandatory)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Apprehend entirely the business need and provide advisory guidance for stakeholders on Company procurement policy and procedures - to ensure that procurement drives innovation and best practice and is compliant with government frameworks.
  • Proactively detect and discourse procurement risks and mitigation strategies to meet organisational compliance requirements.
  • Provide statistics and skilful technical advice on multifaceted policies, procedures, systems and standards to business stakeholders to assist them for delivering effective outcomes and focused procurement activities.
  • Lead the identification, evaluation and selection of supplier or Vendors to provision business requirements through developing tender documentation, overseeing consensus meetings and producing Tender Evaluation Reports.
  • Assist with the management of the establishment, monitoring and delivery of work programmes to deliver contracts and procurement activities using varied resources, adhering to governance requirements whilst minimising risk and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Take on research to support the development and review of organisational procurement policy, procedures, systems and standards.
  • Support in design and implementation of capability development initiatives to improve procurement positive outcomes.

Travel Requirements: Procurement Advisor requires 20% of travel

Seniority Level: Mid Senior Level

This position will be typically reporting to the Procurement Delivery Partner of an organization.

Salary ranges depending on the experience. Typically, Procurement Advisor will be paid Rs. 4 50,000 – Rs. 8 00,000 annually.
