Position Overview
The Procurement Lead directs and accomplishes the Procurement Specialists’ and Supply Delivery Organisation activities for substances. The Lead will organise and communicate with the other SCMS organisation staff to ensure the judicious tendering, reciting and acquiring, to meet the needs of the SCMS customers and satisfactory managements of key steps of the procedure to ensure a prompt source of orders from the sellers and delivery into recipient nations. The Lead will be answerable for ensuring client loads and contractual duties are met for the obtaining of all commodities and the prompt dispensation of delivery and exportation/import from/into countries.

Academic Qualification

A Bachelor degree in logistics, management, public health, business or other related region; OR four additional years of combined educations, experience and preparation

Professional Experience

Experience in transport and logistics (international freight forwarding, import/export guidelines including INCO terms and custom clearance procedures) is highly anticipated
Previous experience supportive national government health-related programs in a low or restrained income environment
Proven, positive experience communicating and collaborating efficiently with national and sub-national governments, global donors, commercial companies, non-governmental administrations, and other program partners

Roles and Responsibilities

Organize, chief and manage a team of the SCMS Purchasers and coordinators in full agreement with PFSCM policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and World Orders.
Manage the dispensed team to make sure they follow unvarying processes
Provide leadership to the team for the efficient and adequate organization of the SCMS orders (orders priority, orders distribution to buyers and SDCs)
Manage, counsellor, and occasionally evaluate the performance of discrete buyers and SDCs, in accordance with PFSCM policies and procedures.

Competencies

Established, successful knowledge communicating and cooperating effectively with nationwide and sub-national governments, worldwide donors, commercial companies, non-governmental administrations, and other program associates
Demonstrated achievement leading/mentoring a team to fulfil stated purposes
Proven aptitude to work both self-sufficiently with little management, as well as part of a crew
Previous experience in personnel management

Travel Requirements: Procurement Lead requires 20% of travel to its dealer locations.

Seniority Level: Head/Director

This position will be typically reporting to the Director/ CEO

Salary ranges liable on the experience and involvement. Typically Purchasing Assistant will be paid Rs. 8,00,000 – Rs. 9,00,000 Annually based on experience.
