Position Overview
We need an experienced Procurement Operations Manager to manage the company’s supply of products and services. They also needed to include strategizing methods to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. Their duty is to discover the most suited ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest more in growth and people. They are required to manage a company’s sourcing capabilities and supply chain. We need an innovative Procurement Operations Manager to lead our procurement team. You will spearhead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes.

Our Procurement Operations Manager will be a supply chain and logistics excellent who will be specialized in implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services. Keeping the quality in control and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures on supply chain management will be some of your main priorities when carrying out this role.

Academic Qualification

Any Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.

Professional Experience

Experience in managing supply chain operations.
Experience in using various supply chain management software and tools such as Oracle, SAP Ariba, and/or Envision.

Roles and Responsibilities

Devising and using fruitful sourcing strategies
Discovering the profitable suppliers and start business and organization partnerships
Negotiating with external vendors to secure better terms for the organisation
Approving the ordering of necessary goods and services for the production of goods and services
Finalising the purchase details of orders and deliveries
Examining and testing the existing contracts and also creating the new contracts
Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenditures and improve effectiveness
Collaborate with important persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
Supervise the alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
Expect unexpected unfavourable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
Take the necessary risk management for supply contracts and agreements
Control the spending of the organisation and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs

Competencies

Deep knowledge in preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
Excellency in using Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
Management as well as leadership skills.
Multi-tasking coupled with time-management skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks.
Highly organized
Detail-oriented
Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.

The Salary depends on the experience. However, typically the average salary of a Procurement operations manager is around ₹5 lakhs annually.
