Overview:
Murray State University’s Logistics and Supply Chain Management Area is a program that prepares individuals to manage and coordinate the efficient flow of materials, products and information within and among organizations. According to the United States Department of Labor, the Logistics and Supply Chain Management profession is expected to grow from 5 - 10% between 2020 and 2030.
Career Opportunities:
As one of the nation's fastest growing fields, logistics and supply chain-related jobs will be plentiful. As a supply chain management professional, you may be responsible for coordinating a wide variety of activities that have a significant influence on business success, including production, purchasing, warehousing, distribution or financial forecasting. Additional responsibilities may include identifying opportunities for streamlining activities and directing the movement, storage, and processing of inventory. Competitive Scholarships
- Requires students to complete the Murray State General Scholarship Application.
- Awarded after application deadline.
