The campus is located in New Britain, Connecticut. New Britain is a city in Hartford County, Connecticut, United States. Among the southernmost of the communities encompassed within the Hartford-Springfield Knowledge Corridor metropolitan region, New Britain is home to Central Connecticut State University and Charter Oak State College. The city was noted for its industry during the 19th and early 20th centuries, and notable sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places include Walnut Hill Park developed by the landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted and Downtown New Britain.

Central Connecticut State University is the largest university within the Connecticut State Colleges and Universities system. Founded in 1849, CCSU is also the state's oldest publicly funded university. The Manufacturing and Construction Management Department offers programs designed to prepare students for technology-oriented supervisory, middle management and leadership positions. The programs respond to an increasing industry demand for highly qualified personnel who have a combination of technical and managerial skills. 

M.S. Supply Chain and Logistics Management Program

Overview:

The M.S. in Supply Chain & Logistics Management (SCLM) program prepares students and working professionals’ careers requiring technical, analytical, and leadership competencies necessary to improve supply chain and logistics processes. The SCLM program combines advanced study in disciplines that expand knowledge in supply chain strategy, warehousing, transporting, logistics, quality, operations, process improvement and leadership.

Providing a broad range of educational and career enhancement opportunities, the Department prepares graduates for careers in rapidly changing fields of technology. Graduate study plans are individually designed by faculty advisers to prepare responsible professionals in the field. The needs and interests of students with established careers are considered, as well as those individuals who aspire to leadership positions in business and industry. Students interested in the undergraduate programs may attend Central Connecticut State University full-time or part-time. Part-time study permits a student to keep a full-time day job and enroll in courses in the later afternoon or evening. Full-time students may complete the program in four years.
