The publicly funded Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning more commonly known as HUMBER COLLEGE, was founded in 1967. The three campuses of this institution are Humber North Campus, Lakeshore campus and Humber Orangeville campus. Humber College offers bachelor’s degrees, diplomas, certificates and post-graduate certificate programs in a wide range of subjects. The Graduate Certificate Programme in Supply Chain Management offered by the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology at the North Campus of Humber is of two semesters. Students successfully completing this programme have good opportunities as
“operations planners, purchasing agents, supply chain analyst, business process analyst and warehouse, transportation and logistics coordinator”.
Students joining this course will increase their knowledge in the areas of research and analyzing the marketplace; develop demand forecasts; evaluate suppliers’ capabilities to deliver; utilize technology such as Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP); develop aggregate and master production plans/schedules; and analyze business processes. They will also be taught industry-standard theories, methods, and techniques, and how they apply to supply chain management strategies and problem solving.
