Wollongong, a seaside city is located in the New South Wales state of Australia, 68 kms south

 of Sydney. It is the third most populous city in the state and tenth most in the country. It is known for its heavy industry and port activity based on its location on the eastern coast of the country. The city has an oceanic climate characterized by cool summers and cool but not cold winters. Some of the attractions in this city include Sea Cliff Bridge, Jamberoo Action Park, Wollongong Botanic Garden, Symbio Wildlife Park and Lake Illawarra.

Established in 1975 as an independent institution, the University of Wollongong (shortened to UOW) offers certificate, diploma and degree courses. It has student strength of approximately 33000 which includes 13500 from 140 countries across the globe. As per the 2019 Student Experience Survey, this university stood in the 10th place among all the Australian universities and the 2nd place among the New South Wales public universities. UOW has established partnerships with 180 reputed institutions in Asia Pacific, Europe, Americas and Utrecht Network, which is a network of European universities offering international short course and study abroad programs, and internships. It is also a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning, International Association of Universities and University Global Partnership Network.

The Master of Supply Chain Management offered by the Faculty of Business of this university is of 18 months duration. Candidates need to take up foundation subjects that comprise 24 credits, core subjects that comprise 42 credits and a capstone subject of 6 credits to earn the total of 72 credit points to complete this course. The courses are continually developed, informed by research, structured on applied outcomes, recognised by employers, delivered by highly qualified academics and supported through additional specialised student learning and development resources.
