Position Overview
The supply chain Analyst is responsible for collecting, cleansing, transforming, validating, aggregating and analysing data from various data sources. The analyst will be working extracting and combining datasets and presenting through reports and dashboards. He will also be closely working in enhancements in the supply chain process. Which also includes recommendations to improve KPIs and also understand the issues that are driving the discrepancies in the supply chain.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Mathematics, supply chain and finance-related field
- BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Mathematics or a related field preferred
Professional Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience required, including data gathering and analysis
- Experience in technical order management of key accounts in commodity market supply chains.
- Experience in pharmaceuticals, brand products, consumer goods, retail store, e-commerce the food/beverage industry preferred.
- Capable of evaluating market data and providing reports which could drive the business.
- Understanding of procurement software and databases
- Strong professional awareness and a track record for being an early adopter in leveraging new technologies.
- Understanding of SAP, ERP solutions with business analytics and data
Professional Certification
- Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
- Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level-4)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct assessment of Analytics tools and dashboards relative to their products, effectiveness and drive the adoption rate.
- Discover the risks and liabilities by collecting data and test of information of business changes.
- Lead continuous improvement projects in the areas of supplier and logistics.
- Consolidate data from multiple systems, create customized summaries for internal and external users
- Estimate and track project success as compared to the intended goals
- Deliver monthly spend category savings, project status, contract management, and SOX reports
- Proficiency with high-level Excel, Tableau, R, VBA, Python, SQL a plus.
