Position Overview
Most companies deal with some type of material or product. It’s the supply chain planner’s job to assure every deliverable, from needle to engines, is delivered on time, in the right quantity, and a way cost-effective for the company. This person will collaborate regularly with customers and manage orders, shipments and client queries. You will have minimal guidance from senior management. You will be accountable for delivering a forecast and demand plan.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply, Material Planning and advanced planning
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics and Engineering or a Supply Chain/Operations/Network optimization/ supply chain design discipline.
Professional Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in planning supply chain
- 5-7 years ERP/MRP systems information and expertise.
- Familiar with MPS and production planning and execution strategies
- Responsible for delivering KPIs by project and accumulated by quarter.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain the Supply Planning process for the selected category and design the function in cross-collaborative projects.
- Accountable for innovative solutions for problem-solving within the Supply Planning function.
- Assuring the most economical logistics clarification is utilized with attention to availability as well as carry payments
- Have a solid perception of planning & purchasing and continue to develop techno scientific knowledge
- Proactively identify supply constraints and monitor inventory levels and coordinate inventory products with Manufacturing.
- Recognize possibilities and stimulate innovations within the Integrated Supply Chain
- Works with marketing on product life cycles and SKU rationalization and also S&OP for supply planning process.

- Self-motivated and able to make quality decisions which would help effectively run the organization.
Travel Requirements: This position requires 20% of travel.

Salary ranges liable on the experience and involvement. Typically Purchasing Assistant will be paid 8, 00,000 – 9, 00,000 annually based on experience.
