Position Overview
The primary job objective of a Trade Compliance specialist is to oversee all imports and export compliance concerning to supply chains. He will also have closely work with the government rules and regulations to check whether the business is compliant with the government rules. Generate implement and maintain programs, policies and procedures to ensure site-wide compliance with regulations and corporate policy.

Academic Qualification 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in the supply chain, international studies or business), or equivalent experience in related fields.
  • Master's Degree in international trade and compliance will be an added advantage

Professional Experience 

  • 4+ years of work experience in international trade, logistics and transportation.
  • 3+ years related experience in working with the global level Trade Compliance

Professional Certification

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Firm knowledge of Customs Harmonized Tariff Schedule
  • Supervise the Company’s trade compliance at worldwide 
  • Keep relevant export and import documents following applicable law and the company’s record retention policy.
  • You will be the single person of contact for shipping activities to guarantee compliance with all governmental policies
  • Work with Corporate, Division and Global business units to develop strategic plans for the next five years 
  • Experience with technologies and platforms desired.
  • You will be working in trade compliance, regulations concerning international cargo trips.
  • Assist in the creation of new reports, metrics and dashboards based on business needs.
  • Support the trade compliance with external and internal customers 
  • Identify and resolve issues with the audit teams of the business 

Competencies 

  • A good understanding of computer systems and a Global Trade Management system will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a different region, cooperate, interact effectively, think critically and solve difficulties, and working alone is critical in this role
  • Excellent customer service, leadership, and program planning skills
  • Managing presentation skills and the ability to tackle complex queries and solutions with Line of Business.

Travel Requirements: This position requires 40% of travel.

Salary ranges liable on the experience and involvement. Typically this position will be paid 5, 00,000 – 7, 00,000 annually based on experience.
