Simple English Book Reviews by Teen Readers

At Fhyzics Academy, we believe that reading books and writing about them is one of the best ways for teens to improve their English skills. Our English as a Second Language (ESL) program encourages students to read simple English books and write short reviews. This not only helps with vocabulary and grammar, but also builds confidence in expressing opinions.

Teen readers often begin with books like Charlotte’s Web, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, or The Little Prince. These books are written in simple language and deal with emotions, friendships, and adventures that young readers can easily relate to. At Fhyzics Academy, we ask students to write a review in just a few lines, focusing on what they liked or disliked, who their favorite character was, and what lesson they learned.

Here’s an example from one of our students:

“I read The Little Prince. I liked how the prince asked questions. My favorite part was when he talked to the fox. I learned that friendship is important.”

Writing book reviews in simple English is a great way to practice sentence formation, use new words, and organize thoughts. It also gives students a chance to share their ideas with others, which can be motivating and fun.

At Fhyzics Academy, we support teen readers with book recommendations, vocabulary lists, and guided questions. Whether you’re reading for fun or for learning, writing about your reading makes it more meaningful. We welcome all ESL learners to share their reviews with us and become part of our growing community of young writers.
