Purpose 

Baker’s 4 strategies of influence is used to accurately access the situation to determine which strategy is most important.

The influence is the power to persuade the people with what they want or agree with the process willingly. The scope of business strategy is to extent the influence of one process upon many business processes and approach the whole situation as they are in. The baker’s strategy consider the push and the pull style. The push style represents the more assertive and forceful way of expressing views and the pull style represents the indirect approach to persuade other influence process. By combining these styles, bakers strategy provided the four different terminologies to analyze the business process. The bakers strategy uses the logical approach in which the stakeholder will be providing the requirements for the project.  

 

The baker’s 4 strategies of influence has categorized in to four different terminologies such as,

    • Investigation - As a strategy of influence, investigation means gathering the facts and presenting them in a logical manner. The presentation of the process is based on the well founded research.
    • Calculation - In influence, the calculation strategy is a means to clarify the status of the process and overcome with the new proposal on the other.
    • Motivation - It is associated with idea, change, or proposal with the clear vision of the business process. The ideas should help the organization to improve the business process in every domain of the company.
    • Collaboration - It involves sharing the information with the team to generate more ideas regarding the process. The ideas will be shared with the team to get more information about the project. It is the best approach for the problem solving technique.
