Farming Process:
Tobacco is a small cycle crop, which is been cultivated and harvested between 90 and 105 days. Tobacco plants are sensitive to the season and cultivated in wide variety of soils. The required temperature for tobacco cultivation is between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius so, majorly they are grown in tropical season, were it is well adapted to regions with moderate rainfall. Tobacco seed are been cultivated and maintained and then, some chemical fertilizers are allowed in order to protect the plantation. After 40-50 days the seed will be transplanted into 3-6 inches height. Then, after a certain period the tobacco leaves are harvested though manually or by automatic machines and it is important to harvest them in proper and accurate time. Now, the tobacco leaves are allowed for curing and then, they are sorted according to the standards. Finally, they are packed and shipped to warehouse or tobacco products manufacturing industry.
