Position Overview
The Forklift Operator operates an assigned vehicle safely and courteously in a warehouse or company manufacturing hub. This position is accountable for assuring all supplies are transported and/or unloaded promptly while maintaining a protected profession atmosphere and adhering to policies and procedures.
Academic Qualification
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 1-year forklift experience preferred

Roles and Responsibilities
- Change lift vehicle batteries and add water when necessary;
- Keep a document of time batteries are modified. Fill out the lift truck status summary.
- Assist in continuous quality improvement schemes and other related activities as designated.
- Assists stockroom personnel with the packing and unloading of products and moves forklifts as needed
- Regulates the program for larger or intermittent vehicle resources with management and staff to minimize service interruptions
- Responds promptly to accident or medical distress by cautioning emergency response providers
- Furnishes consumers with companion counselling and serves as an assertive role ideal while allowing transport assistance
Competencies
- Stretching, drawing, turning and boosting for the duration of shift.
- The hand-operated ability for such responsibilities as driving, sock, lifting, etc.
- Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
- Ability to perform the fundamental duties and reliability with efficiency and exactitude.
- Visually able to see all activities in the warehouse
- Ability to maintain established, anticipated, and regular attendance.
Travel Requirements: This position requires 80% of travel.
