Position Overview
The Forklift Operator operates an assigned vehicle safely and courteously in a warehouse or company manufacturing hub. This position is accountable for assuring all supplies are transported and/or unloaded promptly while maintaining a protected profession atmosphere and adhering to policies and procedures.

Academic Qualification

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.

Professional Experience

Minimum of 1-year forklift experience preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

Change lift vehicle batteries and add water when necessary;
Keep a document of time batteries are modified. Fill out the lift truck status summary.
Assist in continuous quality improvement schemes and other related activities as designated.
Assists stockroom personnel with the packing and unloading of products and moves forklifts as needed
Regulates the program for larger or intermittent vehicle resources with management and staff to minimize service interruptions
Responds promptly to accident or medical distress by cautioning emergency response providers
Furnishes consumers with companion counselling and serves as an assertive role ideal while allowing transport assistance

Competencies

Stretching, drawing, turning and boosting for the duration of shift.
The hand-operated ability for such responsibilities as driving, sock, lifting, etc.
Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
Ability to perform the fundamental duties and reliability with efficiency and exactitude.
Visually able to see all activities in the warehouse
Ability to maintain established, anticipated, and regular attendance.

Travel Requirements: This position requires 80% of travel.
