Position Overview
The primary objective of a storekeeper is designing and controlling inventory projects by examining data-based administration system forecasts to develop and maintain inventory obligations to ensure that the levels are optimal, inventory turnover and administration of inventory objects are met which provide cost-effective use of company supplies. Processes system generated and manual element requests for the property and expedite deliveries as may be claimed

Academic Qualification 

  • High School Diploma or GED. 

Professional Experience 

  • Six (6) months of experience as a Storekeeper 
  • Understanding of computer-based inventory management system and/or materials management experience in SAP

Professional Certification

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Accountable for collecting, accurately defining and wheeling, and stocking products in allocated accommodation areas according to FIFO methods
  • Accountable for producing various commodities to various departments continuously, or according to a delivery schedule, or by requisitions/kit
  • Draft products following FIFO methods, correctly record all the consumer products
  • Must maintain work area/department orderly and systematic
  • Break down cardboard and reflects the recycling method
  • Must work securely following safety guidelines
  • Executes related duties as when required.
  • Fills the stocks with proper businesses supply closets.
  • Opens packages, containers, and other boxes.
  • Engages in intermittent cycle calculations, and other inventories of supply parts stored in the area.

Competencies

  • Ability to write simple mail.
  • Has the ability to work in a labour controlled environment 
  • Proficiency with computer knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Attends staff meetings regularly 
  • Involve in small works when required 
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Essential keyboard skills
  • Willing to work on the holidays, government and national holidays

Travel Requirements: This position requires 60% of travel.

Seniority Level: Entry-level professional 

Salary ranges liable on the experience and involvement. Typically this position will be paid 2, 00,000 – 3, 00,000 annually based on experience.
