Position Overview
Demand planner position is required to follow the most beneficial practices to drive efficiency across the supply chain. This position will also enable the business to meet sales and service objectives. You will also have the responsibilities to lead the demand planning for our new and existing products across regions. Develop new insights for our products, sales and customer experience.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in demand planning, capacity planning, forecasting, modelling, and/or supply chain planning
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics and Engineering or a Supply Chain/Operations/Network optimization/ supply chain design discipline.
Professional Experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in planning supply chain
- Demonstrated forecasting, statistical, and analytical abilities; able to interpret and plan large sets of raw data, draw inferences and generate actionable proposals to our customers
- Hands-on experience in S&OP principles and practices, statistical forecasting, forecast accuracy metrics, and inventory management.
- Develop and control documentation and standard operating procedures for Demand and Supply Planning processes and systems.
Professional Certification
- Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
- Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level-4)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently and working under heavy pressure to deliver results.
- Experience in leading formal meetings by taking critical data and conveying the accurate information to the stakeholders in presentations
- Assure that the critical demand planning processes and tools are designed and function as efficiently and improve the global demand planning.
- Establish the right pricing tool and standardize the pricing process across all the regions and states
- Proficiency with high-level Excel, Tableau, R, VBA, Python, SQL a plus.
