Position Overview
A Merchandising Manager is accountable for addressing right decisions related to stocking, pricing and consumer goods in retail markets. They also forecast sales and inventory information to discover consumer choices that help the business decide which items to put on the sale for the current time and also they plan on stock keepings unit for the sales in the retails.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor's degree preferred in retail management, business and supply chain.
- A degree in Marketing and Communications is preferred.
Professional Experience
- 2-3 years of retail and/or purchasing experience is an asset
- 5 years of experience in retail or FMCG Company will be an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop product programs to support retail store operations. Install category management practices to provide a planning framework and financial direction.
- Produce output vision by category, in 10 days advance of marketing season by gender, division and order.
- Leads team to improve product groups that support the needs of the consumer while achieving period productivity.
- Operates with merchandisers and allocators to establish business and businessperson connections. Designs team to increased knowledge of business impacts, strengths and weaknesses in the enterprise and inside competing organisations.
- Examining administration upon strategies for both merchandise and Merchandisers.
- Assessing product review and developing necessary policies.
- Effective organisation plans by gender, category and classification.
- State key item strategies and rules.
- State periodically merchandise plans.
- Supervise the structure and carrying of the replenishment cycle.
- Elaborates methods and traditions throughout pricing promotions and markdowns to reach sales and margin targets. Stabilizes pricing approaches by store model

Travel Requirements: This position requires 40% of travel.
