Certified Practitioner in Warehouse Management – Examination Structure

Certified Practitioner in Warehouse Management (CPWM) is an online, proctored examination. The examination duration is 3 hours (180 minutes) with 180 questions. Each question is a multiple-choice question with four answers, and you are expected to select the most appropriate answer. You need to correctly answer 126 questions (70%) or above to secure a pass in the online examination.

Since CPWM is an online proctored examination, you can take the examination at a quite place either at your office or at home where you can ensure an undisturbed 3-hour duration.

Examination Hall Instructions

1. Students shall not have any materials or books or other objects in the vicinity.
2. They can keep a bottle of water. No food items or mobiles allowed.
3. There shall be no one else present in the room where you are taking the examination.
4. Students are expected to spend the entire three hours taking the examination. In case of some emergency they can venture out, but the time is counted against their absence.
5. This is a closed book examination and the students shall not refer any material whether it is relevant or irrelevant.
6. Any violation during the examination will lead to summary rejection of the candidature.
7. Any external help or referring to internet or course materials will lead to summary rejection of the candidature.
8. Based on the nature of violation the examination disciplinary committee will decide on the course of action. It may range from temporary debarring in taking the certification examination to debarred for life.

The below table indicates the number of questions from the 16 modules and their classification under fact, analysis, and scenario-based questions. Out of the 180 questions, 20% are fact-based questions, 30% are analysis-based questions and 50% are scenario-based questions.
