Vidhurar Venkatesan is Currently working in Hesperus Automation System Pvt Ltd
His Professional Experience as below:
My interest in Electronics and Instrumentation developed in a somewhat unforeseen way. When I was in class 9, my school organized a factory visit to the Choco Pie Factory, Chennai. We were excited to get free chocolates and goodies, but little did I know that I would get so much more out of that visit. When the plant manager took us the main manufacturing room, I was astounded by seeing so many advanced machines working in harmony without any direct manual intervention and the export of goods was done with lots of man power. I vividly remember the mesmerizing site. The manager then told us how these automated machines worked and explained the process importing and exporting. He said this increased reliability and productivity in their factory. And this is when I decided that I wanted to become an electrical and instrumentation engineer to create such marvelous machines and management purpose.
I enrolled for my undergraduate course at Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. The Electronics and Instrumentation curriculum enticed me due to the sheer nature of flexibility. It had an interdisciplinary approach encompassing computer science, electrical, control, instrumentation, biomedical, and POM concepts. Since I had a natural proclivity towards Management, POM, was the subject that inspired me the most. My professor who delivered this course used comprehensive pedagogies to teach various concepts. The lab programs and theoretical classes have made significant impact on my preliminary knowledge.
To augment my learning further, I involved myself in different projects, trainings and extracurricular activities. I received many opportunities to fine-tune my technical skills and acquire new skills. I have accomplished projects on 2 sensor line follower which triggered the basic interest in me towards robotics along with the achievement in designing the first robot by my persistent effort which again enthralled me in designing 3 sensor line follower which was a tricky concept as but gave me the mere courage to face it and achieve the end result in the competition conducted in Sastra University Daksh’18 .I decided to go away further and designed the PID controller robot which used five sensors and achieved in obtaining a better accuracy rate these projects are helpful in various logistics industry to supply the products inside the warehouse and has also filled me with knowledge and experience in the field of robotics where logistics industry also has its role because of my interest towards pursuing in that field. I did my final year project on Self Governing Seep Out Gas Robo Car It was based on Identifying the leakages of gas in Various using a Robot to avoid Disease to human . The work was on sensor using Arduino its aim was to reduce manpower and to help them to find the leakages. This project has given me an idea about how process automation works on field and made me understand the use of automation practically. I am confident these learning’s would complement the projects I decide to undertake during Post Graduate. Added to this I have worked for Ten months in Hesperus Automation System Private Limited as a Design and Implementation engineer which fine tune my Skills in warehouses. As I have worked on many projects on Warehouse automation, and in inventory optimization I was recruited in June 10 2019 because of my wide knowledge and confidence to finish tasks.
Moreover, I worked on collaboration and leadership skills by participating in extracurricular activities. In June 2018, I became a member of the Toastmasters International to interact with like-minded individuals. Entrepreneurship club also helped me in molding my leadership capability. I was often involved in participating symposiums in college on topics related to Automation, and I also presented a paper on Bluetooth 4.0. I will continue to be an active participant in the university’s clubs and would also like to explore an opportunity to write for the university’s magazine or newspaper.
My projects using Arduino processor for Line Follower using two way sensor and Solar tracker is a definitive way of developing my Skills in Research,
My Projects in company were based on warehouse automation, so that up thrilled my interest to learn more about logistics and supply chain management.
Building on these experiences, I want to attend your course to refine my skills and learn from my global peers. This area interests me because it is associated with many future-focused programs such as supply Chains and logistics. I am confident of my academic aptitude and desire to contribute to the academic community through my dedication to the field.
