NPDP Certification training is offered in both classroom and online formats. The classroom program is offered over 3 full days and in case of online program the equivalent number of hours are covered. The online programs are typically conducted over weekends considering the working professionals.
The participants need to master the New Product Development Body of Knowledge, published by PDMA, USA. NPD Body of Knowledge contains the following seven modules developed through researches and studies conduction over the past 40+ years.

Once the participants are thorough with the NPD Body of Knowledge, then book the examination and then take the examination at Prometric Centres located across the globe.
NPDP Examination is an online, multiple choice examination with 200 questions. One need to secure 75% to pass in the 3.5-hour examination. The results of the examination will be known at the end of the examination.
Those who are certified need to submit 60 professional development units every three years to maintain the certification. Once should not confuse between the recertification and reappearing for the examination. Certification maintenance refers to the process of submitting the professional development units once in every 3 years. There is no need to rewrite the examination.
