A city in the Regional Municipality of Niagara, Welland is one of the cities in the Southern Ontario province in Canada. It is half an hour from the Niagara Falls and is referred to as the place where the railways and waterways of this region meet. The Niagara College of Applied Arts and Technology frequently called Niagara College is a public college of arts and technology located in the city. Established in 1967, it has two main campuses – Welland Campus and Niagara-on-the-lake Campus. The college offers over 100 post-secondary diplomas, baccalaureate degrees and advanced level programs. It has a student strength of 9000 full-time students which includes 4000 international students from 60 countries. The institute also has a Continuing Education division which attracts around 15000 students for the more than 600 courses each year. More than 50000 students have graduated from this college after completing their chosen field of study.
