Incorporated in 1980, Singapore Institute of Materials Management (SIMM) is a non-profit and self-supporting educational institution. To establish and maintain a high standard of knowledge and excellence in the field of Supply Chain Management is the primary objective of this institute. SIMM helps in upgrading the professional knowledge of its members and corporate companies staff by providing practical training through workshops, in-house programs and seminars. SIMM is a member of the International Federation of Purchasing and Materials Management (IFPMM). SIMM also works with the authorities and various government bodies such as IE Singapore (International Enterprise) and Economic Development Board (EDB) Singapore in various projects in the areas of Logistics and Procurement to further advance the interests of the industry and country development.

The Graduate Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (GDLSCM) offered by this institute is of 12 months duration followed by a 12 week management project. The course will provide you with
hard-hitting, focused, up-to-date information on the latest and most effective logistics technology tool, a practical business management program with a focus on managing the flow of materials, people and services, to satisfy customer demand and to ensure success in the difficult times ahead.

The students are evaluated by means of written assignments, special projects and examinations. The subjects taught in this course are

International Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Integrated Materials and Procurement Management, International Operations Management, Resilience & Supply Chain Security Management, Balanced Scorecard and Business Strategy in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
