The city of Waterloo is located in the southern part of the Ontario province in Canada. It is adjacent to the city of Kitchener and both these

cities are often jointly referred to as “Kitchener-Waterloo” or “K-W” or “Twin Cities”. It is the smallest of the three cities in the Regional Municipalities of Waterloo. Wilfrid Laurier University, commonly referred to as WLU or simply Laurier is a public university in the Ontario province of Canada. It has a student strength of 15000 in the undergraduate courses, 1000 in the graduate courses, almost 4000 in the part-time courses and almost 1000 in the doctoral courses. The PhD course in Supply Chain, Operations and Technology offered by the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics of this university at its Waterloo campus try to find answers to fundamental questions about the design, production, and delivery of goods and services.
