Job Description for Supply Chain Manager at Tvs

• Freight Forwarding - Sales 
• Roles and Responsibilities  
• Implement marketing strategies to achieve budget  
• Cold call as appropriate within the market / geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.  
• Prospect and identify potential customers and the decision makers within the customers organization.  
• Research and build relationships with new customers.  
• Set up meetings between customers decision makers and company’s representatives. 
• Work with pricing and operations team to develop solution that fulfills customer’s requirements, concerns and objectives.  
• Periodic review with customers to ensure business continuity.  

• Be able to develop Business Development & operations in branch for further growth 
• Be able to independently develop understanding of a customer's business model, trade flows and business drivers. 
• Experience in operating in an international environment is an advantage 

• Coordinate with and ensure required Manpower is maintained at all times 
• Achieve gross margin as agreed upon CSI score to be achieved as per agreed norms interface with customer and company to ensure smooth operation 
• Ensure all the KPIs are achieved – SLA are met 
• Coach and guide them to adhere prescribed SOP 
• Maintain stock accuracy by cycle count and audit 
• Ensure proper receiving, binning and picking – location accuracy and tracking 
• Effective communication from one shift to next shift 
• Ensure safety of men and material and strict adherence to safety norms. 

• Preparation of Commercial proposals 
• Maintained, tracked, and updated bid and Proposal data in Excel database. 
• Developed and implemented a formal, standardized process for bids and RFP's. 
• Handled the proposal responses in a timely and cost-effective manner. 
• Analyze market data and direct overall workforce strategy in conjunction with internal stakeholders. 
• Person should have basic understanding about warehouse operations, and Purchase department
