Proud and privileged as a senior citizen of the teaching fraternity of India. Thankful to the premier educational institutions of Tamil Nadu for having trained, groomed and found in me, an academician, a researcher and an administrator in collegiate education – “I am proud of my alma mater and my alma mater is proud of me.” Grateful to my parents for the best parentage, who exemplified that home is the first university and parents are the first professors. Retired from Government service but not from the innate, gentle and quiet spirit.
