Position Overview
Corporate Buyer plays an important role team for procuring the goods and services that an organization requires. Identification of external material needs of the organization, find services providers who can supply these goods, negotiate for prices and arrange for the purchase and delivery of the goods. Duties contain market research, opponent analysis, product valuations monitoring purchase orders and producing substantial’s for the management team recurrently.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance
- Master’s degree (Nice to have)
Professional Experience
- Around 2 Years of experience in Supply chain management
- Computer proficiency, Microsoft Office software (Mandatory)
- Willingness for travel
Professional Certifications
- Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
- Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level-4)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Progress long term contractual dealing and investigating on alternative vendors intended for competitive pricing.
- Primary responsibilities are the research and procurement of products that your business needs.
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers. Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing. Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Review quality of purchased Products, bid, accolade, and administer project supply, services, and construction subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Attending trade events getting feedback from customers, negotiate directly with vendors to get the best possible pricing and payment options.
- Graft meticulously with others in the procurement function and analyse opportunities for continuous enlargement.
- Assist in the assessment and evaluation of suppliers and supplier performance reviews.
- Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones constantly and continually.
- Assist in the receipt of purchased materials and services, and keep detailed records of purchases and stocks.
- Conduct routine supplier business reviews, evaluating supplier performance and compliance.
- Perform cost management to identify areas of potential cost reduction and analyse the impact of pricing changes for goods and services.
- Stock control and reacting to any changes in customer demand regularly, discussing on current market trending areas of business to senior management.

Travel Requirements: Corporate Buyer requires 45% of travel based on organization standard policies.
Seniority Level: Entry Level
This position will be typically reporting to the Procurement Lead of an organization.
Salary ranges depending on the experience. Typically, Corporate Buyer will be paid Rs. 4, 50,000 – Rs. 6, 50,000 annually.
