Position Overview
Director – Executive Procurement plays a key role in departmental planning and oversees team’s progress, finding innovative ways to enhance productivity while ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations. Develop and/or update procurement policies and procedures; centralized procurement program that will add value and efficiency to the organization. Directing the procurement of goods and services for the client; assist Procurement team members and colleagues with procurement processes, change and updates other procurement-related activities; Highlight the responsibilities and activities of the position so that the job candidates are able to easily understand what the position entails.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management
- Master’s degree (Preferred)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (Added Advantage)
Professional Experience
- Minimum 18 Years of experience includes at least 5 years of Department Director
- Experience with any ERP or Business Management software
- Microsoft Office including Project Management software (Mandatory)
Professional Certifications
- Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
- Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level-5)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement plans and objectives for the department in an effective and innovative fashion.
- Proven organizational skills, implementing the capacity to handle multiple task under stiff cut-off date.
- Manage current procurement policies, procedures and programs with a focus on their ability to enhance organizational value and efficiency; meet regularly with respective departments regarding procurement for their understanding and/or recommendations to enhance policies, procedures and develop, communicate and implement new / revised policies, procedures and programs as needed.
- Develop, communicate and administer procurement team performance and development plans and appraisals.
- Strong working knowledge of performance and operations management to optimize productivity and employee satisfaction.
- Develop a centralized procurement program that adds value and efficiency to the organization.
- Participate in budget development and monitoring of expenses, Generate necessary reports for the executive team; read subordinates reports.
- Preserve Legal and statuary compliance with outward regulations and inward policies.

Travel Requirements: Director – Executive Procurement requires 35% of travel
Seniority Level: Director
This position will be typically reporting to the CEO Chief Executive Officer of an organization.
Salary ranges depending on the experience. Typically, Director – Executive Procurement will be paid Rs. 36, 50,000 – Rs. 43, 50,000 annually.
