Position Overview
Sources dealers and develops relations to negotiate and buy goods, resources and facilities to meet the Company’s operational supplies. This includes supplier collection, tendering and cost appraising. Overall accountability and answerability for the Buying Function which will include persons and budgetary organization. Integral part of the high-ranking management team or board which controls overall strategy and business choices.

Academic Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Production/Operations Management, or Engineering or corresponding business experience.
Strong processer skills, ideally with knowledge using Windows-based PC programs.

Professional Experience

10 years progressive knowledge in Purchasing & Obtaining with extensive experience in the industrial industry, preferably in a strategic setting in a mid to large size association.
Leads product growth commodity strategies in line with business initiatives to improve supply chain competences and decrease the total cost of supply chain management.
Drives usage of cost replicas to validate product strategies and to understand important cost drivers.
Manages all activities that develop relations with dealers.
Matures an overall vendor base which makes and sustains a inexpensive advantage, utilizing global market misuse, leveraging spend, and leveraging of skills.

Management and mentoring a active team of purchasing specialists.
Establishing and upholding measurable performance metrics for all levels of obtaining activities to include but not limited to supplier presentation, supplier excellence, internal order assignment performance, buyer movement levels, financial (AP) performance, and material shortage removal.
Negotiate and execute procurement orders or vendor agreements as needed to support the critical occupational desires.
