Curtin University, Singapore (a trademark of Curtin University) a campus of Australia's Curtin University was officially opened in November 2008. It provides diploma, under-graduate and post-graduate courses to over 3000 students in both full-time and part-time modes. The fully Wi-Fi enabled campus has 10 lecture halls, 36 classrooms with audio video equipment, four computer labs, common study room and many other facilities for the benefit of both the students as well as the staff. During their course of studies, students have the discretion to transfer to other Curtin campuses in Perth, Australia to gain further international exposure and widen their perspectives.

The Master of Supply Chain Management offered by this university of 1 year duration which is broken into three trimesters. Students gain expert, insider knowledge from logistics professionals and undertake real-life practical assignments and case studies. Their learning will be capped off by an individual research project which can be completed under the guidance of experienced staff members. Students of this course can among other things

  • apply logical and analytical methods to improve logistics and supply chain processes and activities, think creatively to generate innovative solutions to logistics and supply chain problems.
  • communicate at an advanced level, using appropriate terminology, with individuals and groups in organisations and within supply chains.
  • Recognise, evaluate and deal effectively with local, national and international issues relevant to logistics and supply chain management in order to participate in a global environment.
