Windsor is a city in southwestern Ontario Canada, on the south bank of the Detroit River directly across from Detroit, Michigan. Located in Essex County, it is the southernmost city in Canada and marks the southwestern end of the Quebec City–Windsor Corridor. The Detroit–Windsor urban area is North America's most populous trans-border conurbation, and the Ambassador Bridge border crossing is the busiest commercial crossing on the Canada–United States border. This city is also known as the “Automotive Capital of Canada”. It has a humid continental climate characterised by summers which are hot and humid and cold winters with frequent snowfall. The University of Windsor, founded in 1963 is a public comprehensive and research university in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It is Canada's southernmost university. It has approximately 12,000 full-time and part-time undergraduate students and 4,000 graduate students. The Master of Management in Logistics and Supply Chain Management offered by the Odette School of Business of this university is a course-based professional graduate degree of 16 months duration. The school combines classroom teaching, faculty interaction and hands-on learning through case studies, group projects, community engagement and extra-curricular opportunities.
