Position Overview
Assessing suppliers is one of the most critical roles of a buyer or purchasing agent. They ensure the goods are ordered in time so that any postponements in the supply chain do not shut down manufacture and cause the association to lose clients. Purchasing agents and buyers study price, quality, obtainability, dependability, and technical support when choosing dealers and products. Customers and purchasing agents buy products and facilities for organizations towards usage or resell. They evaluate dealers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate the quality of products.

Academic Qualification

  • Classically, 2 or more years of relevant knowledge with Bachelor’s Degree
  • Degree in Business Administration or associated arena

Professional Experience

  • Desired SAP experience
  • Ability to create and uphold operative working relationships with all levels of company staff, organization and customers.
  • Must be point oriented
  • Established ability to meet programmes
  • Must have knowledge about Supply Management, Vendor Relationships, Tracking Budget Expenses, Organization, Customer Service, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Manufacturing Quality, Documentation Skills, Supply Management, Cost Accounting, Control Engineering

Travel Requirements: Purchase Agent requires 20% of travel to its contractor locations.

This position will be typically reporting to the Engineer or  ERP of the supply chain Operations

Salary ranges liable on the experience. Typically, Purchase Agent will be paid Rs. 3,00,000 – Rs. 4,50,000 Annually.
