Position Overview
The Strategic Procurement Lead directs and achieves the Procurement Specialists’ and Supply Delivery Administration activities for materials. The Lead will systematize and communicate with the other SCMS administration staff to ensure the judicious tendering, declaiming and acquiring, to meet the desires of the SCMS customers and satisfactory administrations of key steps of the procedure to ensure a quick source of orders from the vendors and delivery into recipient nations. The Lead will be responsible for ensuring client loads and pledged duties are met for the obtaining of all merchandises and the prompt dispensation of delivery and exportation/import from/into nations.
Academic Qualification
- A Bachelor degree in logistics, management, public health, business or other related region; OR four additional years of combined educations, experience and preparation
Professional Experience
- Experience in transport and logistics (international freight forwarding, import/export guidelines with INCO terms and custom clearance procedures) is highly expected
- Previous experience compassionate national government health-related programs in a low or controlled income environment
- Proven, positive experience interactive and collaborating professionally with national and sub-national governments, global donors, commercial companies, non-governmental managements, and other program associates
Professional Certifications
- Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
- Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level-4)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Organize, lead and accomplish a team of the SCMS Purchasers and coordinators in full contract with PFSCM policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and World Orders.
- Manage the distributed team to make sure they follow unwavering processes
- Provide leadership to the team for the efficient and adequate organization of the SCMS orders (orders priority, orders distribution to buyers and SDCs)
- Manage, analyst, and occasionally assess the performance of discrete buyers and SDCs, in agreement with PFSCM policies and events.

- Established, fruitful knowledge communicating and collaborating effectively with nationwide and sub-national administrations, worldwide donors, commercial companies, non-governmental administrations, and other program connections
- Demonstrated attainment leading/mentoring a team to fulfil stated purposes
- Proven aptitude to work both independently with little administration, as well as part of a crew
- Previous experience in staffs management
Travel Requirements: Strategic Procurement Lead requires 20% of travel to its dealer locations.
Seniority Level: Head/Director
This position will be typically reporting to the Director/ CEO
Salary ranges liable on the experience and involvement. Typically Purchasing Assistant will be paid Rs. 8,00,000 – Rs. 9,00,000 Annually based on experience.
