Position Overview
This job requires the ability to developing and managing the transportation team, expanding and encouraging the group’s economic road map while maintaining operations and ensuring to agreed pricing and intermodal strategy to achieve set Trade Budgets. This key position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Logistics and will be managing all inbound and outbound transportation networks of the business.

Academic Qualification 

  • BS/BA engineering in transportation or business or related discipline required.
  • 5 or more years of experience in logistics and trade management required
  • Master's in logistics or trade management will be added advantage 

Professional Experience

  • 3 years of professional experience with freight industry.
  • 7 - 12 years of experience as a Manager on diverse trade lanes and handling a wide range of customers

Professional Certification

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Promote and maintain Sea Freight pricing policy in the business
  • Supervision work Make daily and monthly reports of shipment metrics/statuses in regards to KPIs 
  • Revision of daily materials supplied by managers and available through a database
  • Collection and sharing of relevant market intelligence to key stakeholders within Sea freight / Air Freight operations and sales organizations
  • Lead Sales Management
  • Support in assuring timely receipt and settlement of Invoices, Credit notes-profit divisions, Dispute purpose pertaining to the Trade lane
  • Plan, develop, and deploy of local / nation commercial trade lane approach, maintaining commercial strategic direction and contribution from each customer segment to maximize overall profitability.

Competencies 

  • Proven track record of generating and maintaining customers at the strategic and/or key statement, either individually or through collaboration in a trade lane 
  • Basic MS office skills
  • Strong logical and organizational skills including the ability to collect, structure, analyse and communicate large volumes of complicated data
  • Strong process orientation
  • Deep knowledge of people management, coaching and development skills.

Travel Requirements: This position requires 20% of travel.

Seniority Level: Manager

Salary ranges liable on the experience and involvement. Typically this position will be paid 7, 00,000 – 14, 00,000 annually based on experience.
