Position Overview
Corporate Procurement Lead will coordinate and liaise with the management staff to ensure the timely tendering, quoting and purchasing, to meet the needs clients and acceptable steps to ensure a prompt supply of orders from the vendors and delivery. Procurement lead time includes identifying a need, selecting a good or service and sourcing vendors, in addition to time spent for negotiating, ordering and paying. Be accountable for ensuring client demands and contractual obligations are met for the procurement of all commodities and the swift dispensation of delivery.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Logistics
- Master’s degree (Preferred)
- Fellowship in any Procurement leadership Program (Added Advantage)
Professional Experience
- Minimum 7 Years of experience includes at least 2 years of Corporate Procurement Lead experience
- Excellent Team handling and coaching / tutoring experience
- Microsoft Office including Project Management software (Mandatory)
Professional Certifications
- Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
- Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level-4)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Mentoring the associates and in constant review for nurturing talent.
- Maintains procurement records and recommends procedural changes to improve procurement results.
- Manage the assigned team to make sure they follow uniform processes.
- Provide guidance to the team for the efficient and adequate management of the orders, orders priority, orders allocation to buyers.
- Establish, prime and manage a team in full accordance with policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and as per organization standards.
- Accomplish further responsibilities such as transactional procurement activities, as needed and rapt by the Procurement Operations Manager.
- Monitor the prompt contribution and/or handling of orders and shipment related complaints and incidents and Incident management.
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
- Work with team members to complete duties as needed and take ownership of records of purchases, pricing, and other important data regularly.
- Ensure precise and well-timed reportage of team indicators to the manager.

Travel Requirements: Corporate Procurement Lead requires around 45 % of travel
Seniority Level: Associate
This position will be typically reporting to the Corporate Procurement Manager of an organization.
Salary ranges depending on the experience. Typically, Corporate Procurement Lead will be paid Rs. 6, 50,000 – Rs 8, 00,000 annually.
