Position Overview
Manager, Forecasting & Inventory who will operate with our ecommerce business and is accountable for extracting data, building prediction models, and accomplishing the inventory plan. This role will need to recognise historical trends in connection to forward-looking purchasing and marketing plans to recognise inventory needs to contribute to vendors and sourcing associates. This role will change this data to generate sustainable, scalable prediction models using systems. This position will also be accountable for providing the prediction information to vendor/ship-from-location level and updating merchant systems about inventory and availability.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in supply chain Engineering, Business Operations or associated field and MBA would be an advantage
Professional Experience
- 5+ years of experience in managing, transmission or distribution of goods.
- 3+ years of experience in inventory or warehouse as a senior analyst.
Professional Certification
- Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
- Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level-5)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build and deliver SKU and location level estimates to suppliers and other business stakeholders
- Control with purchasing and marketing departments to improve inventory policies for merchandise promotional purposes
- Correlative combination of SKU's to shipping centres to deliver operational efficiencies and diminished outbound freight costs
- Control system record levels for restrained and distributed SKU's
- Accountable for the development of holiday working plans for peak period in hard assets, flowers and presents
- Build and refine predicting and analytical tools for forecasting
