Position Overview
Production Supervisor will manage the projects of hourly workers, directly and indirectly, engaged in Manufacturing and in the shipping department.
Academic Qualification
- Bachelors degree
- MBA or Advanced Degree
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ expertise directly overseeing employees in a production environment
- Experience managing workers in a Unity background
Professional Certification
- Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
- Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations (Level-3)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Guarantee the highest mark of produced product according to terms.
- Guarantee the cost of the moulded product is at or below the predicted cost per thousand by controlling the waste, increasing costs and managing established productivity goals.
- Oversee all production duties to maintain the highest calibre product delivered in a timely and regular manner.
- Design and manage a safe work atmosphere for all workers.
- Accountable for the evaluation, assessment and qualification of all primary and secondary workers within the manufacturing ecosystem.
- Understand and reinforce company policies and Union contracts as necessary.
- Responsible for staffing of hourly positions with relevant personnel.
- Understand the duties of maintenance supervisors in their deficiency.
- Manage shipping opportunity personnel and workers as needed
- Manage the weekly manufactory startups and/or shutdowns as required.
