Position Overview

This will involve operating closely with value partners or commodity buyer or sellers to improve production and cost. The Lead would work to reduce the resistance felt by customers and make them easier to do business

Academic Qualification

A four-year degree or related work in business, supply chain or related range of study

Professional Experience

7+ years of knowledge in Strategic Sourcing, preferably with Secondary Category experience
Supplier production management experience

Professional Certification:

Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level-4)
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

Roles and Responsibilities

Accountable for leading commodity for designated places, to maximize marketing and business goals, and give a positive consumer experience
Resolves complex problems and drives tactical and important initiatives, such as managing process regularities; achieving program policies
Tracks schedules, delivery solutions, essential metrics, and process-oriented tasks; identify issues and recommend solutions with confined guidance.
Completes tasks as detailed and practices undergo to align personal work with an overall approach using wisdom and knowledge
Performs process developments by helping with or leading teams to support and improve the modern procedures and processes
Contracts with suppliers; accountable for day-to-day operations of suppliers
Monitors supplier operational performance & reviews on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Executes regular risk mitigation and business continuity; cost management and operations strategies; recognises common contract contingency areas
Mentors lower-level donors
