Position Overview
The position superintends all methods to decrease costs, optimize inventory and guarantee on-time delivery to our consumers. Lead the work in the implementation, mistake and constant improvement of the integrated market planning process.
Determine overall sourcing policy, recognise and strengthen strategic suppliers and supervise supplier relationships. This involves the administration and development of supplier production, cost decreases and risk reduction activities. The key benefit driver is the ability to operate cross-functionally to perform and maintain the best systems in demand and supply of the firm
Academic Qualification
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Operations Management, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Management Science
- Master’s degree is most likely wanted
Professional Experience
- 8 to 12 years related Supply Chain leadership experience in supply chain-related industry
- 5 years of expertise in purchasing or associated field
Professional Certification
- Certified Inventory Optimisation Professional (CIOP)
- Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply (Level-6)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Controls the division-wide demand, quantity and record planning exercises for all products, accessories and raw metal.
- Accountable for the quality of the demand, supply and record inputs into the corporate multicultural business planning (IBP) method.
- Manages the adherence to proposing disciplines within the firm
- Accountable for the continuance and forecasting of divisional safety stock amount, which involves the disciplined administration of all distribution or warehouse
- Leading construction and implementation of comprehensive level distinct strategic plans to leverage measure and optimize total supply chain cost.
- Knowledge to build an advanced data model, to describe the right supplier space policies. Leverage experience with suppliers to introduce new ways.
